Having Fun at the Acura Grand Prix

A clip from “Financing the American Dream” at the Acura Grand Prix.

Today I want to share a clip from a recent episode of “Financing the American Dream.” In it, I go to the Acura Grand Prix in Long Beach, California. This is one of the biggest events in Long Beach every year, and it’s always a blast.

First, I spoke with Gavin Harlien, who qualified third in the previous race. He drives a stadium super truck, and he’s been doing it since he first raced at the X Games when he was only 14. In the next race, he’s going for his tenth all-time win.

Next, I spoke with racer Tatiana Calderón, a pioneer in her field. Tatiana is excited to represent women everywhere and give little girls someone to cheer for. This is her first year in Indy car racing and in Long Beach, so she’s spending time discovering the track and the wonderful area.

“The Grand Prix is one of Long Beach’s biggest events every year.”

I also visited with Jack Williams, a member of the pit crew. Usually, he’s a front tire expert and backup fuel replacer. His favorite part about pit crew is that every day is completely different, but it’s always exciting. Jack has been wanting to do this for a long time, but this is his first year doing it professionally.

Finally, I talked with young superfans Reed, David, and Rider. David’s favorite racer is Scott Dixon, and while his favorite race is Indy car, he likes the super trucks too. He plans on growing up to be a racecar driver.

The Grand Prix was a ton of fun! If you have questions about it or anything related to real estate, please call or email me. I am always willing to help!
