This spring is a particularly wonderful time to sell. We ended 2021 with the lowest inventory levels we’ve ever seen here in Southern California. We also have historically low-interest rates and high demand from buyers who are looking to get into homes before rates increase. That means fairly-priced properties are getting multiple strong offers, even with prices rising.
Generally speaking, cash investors and flippers make up a very small portion of the market. In most cases, today’s buyers are normal people looking for homes to live in with their families. If you’re considering selling, doing so before summer begins is a great opportunity. Even in extremely tight inventory markets, we see prices start to flatten out in the summer months.
